Lindsay
Audin
(CEM, CEP, LEED AP)
President, Energywiz, Inc.
Experience
Audin’s 30+ years of energy industry
experience encompasses perspectives as a consultant, customer, and energy
supplier. He has shown many large energy clients, trade groups,
other consultants, and marketers how to maximize their opportunities in
retail and wholesale energy markets.
As consultant to several large suppliers, he has an in-depth knowledge of
the energy services industry. When representing large energy users, he has
used that understanding to secure for them better pricing and options.
While energy manager for Columbia University (1988-1996), he reduced the
University’s energy bills by more than $3 million a year through a
combination of energy efficiency and aggressive procurement of fuels and
electricity. In 1992, he founded the New York Energy Buyers Forum, a
non-profit organization of large energy users working together for lower
energy rates.
For thirteen years prior to Columbia, he served New York area consulting and
manufacturing firms in a variety of energy-related positions, including as a
department head and business partner.
